Abstract

The tremendous growth of mobile technology and WAP application forced us to provide new services to the users with the help of Wireless Application Protocol. It enables users to easy access a whole range of mobile/Internet and other data services from mobile devices such as without the need to plug into a separate laptop or data enabled device. This paper provides the overall view of the WAP technology and its application in the field of library and information science.
