Pre-Submission Checklist

Guidelines to be noted before submitting the Article in Journal of Information and Knowledge to avoid rejections

  • The Plagiarism should be Less than 20%. The contents of the article should not be easily available on the internet.
  • This article should not be just a description of the sources and there should be some research value in it.
  • Details of the Sample selections should be provided
  • The Methodology should be correct
  • The article should not be a routine analysis and it should not be a single institute analysis as it does not lead to generalized results
  • The article should not be just an essay on the subject. It should be based on any experience in developing a repository.
  • The article should not have Unnecessary statistics without a sound theoretical base
  • The writing style (literature survey) should not be monotonous
  • Information of all co-authors to be provided
  • Information while submitting and in the Manuscript should match

Manuscript length and formatting:

  • Abstract- in the proper format and required length
  • Key messages provided

Tables:

  • Tables- to be cited within the text of the article
  • Tables to be placed within the article
  • Table legends to be provided
  • Too lengthy Tables/Supplementary Files should not be uploaded

Figures:

  • Figures to be provided in acceptable format
  • Figure quality as specified
  • Figures to be labelled appropriately
  • Figures to be cited within the text of the article
  • Figure legends to be provided
  • Figures to be uploaded separately

References:

All the references mentioned in the Fulltext has to be cited in the Reference section.

Supplementary files and appendices:

  • Submissions to be in acceptable format
  • Need to be cited within text of the article

Statements:

  • Statements about Contributorship
  • Statement for Competing Interest
  • Statement for Data Sharing
  • Statement for Ethical Approval

Permissions:

Acknowledge the source, acquire consent for any copy right matter that has been reused.
