A comparative study of the Physics schedule in the sevent edition of Colon Classification and the twentieth edition of Dewey Decimal Classification has been made. The various characters such as, placement of physics among other subjects, the neighbourhood relations, terminologies used, the arrangement of schedules. notation, mnemonics are compared. The efficiences and deficiencies of both the schemes have been studied in detail. Several suggestions have been provided for improvement.Downloads
