Abstract

Analyses the trends in the publishing of books in Malayalam from the beginning of printing to 1990. Presents the subject-wise and year-wise distribution of Malayalam books in Science, Social Science, and Humanities. Compares the book production in the literary and non-literary fields. Identifies the major publishers of Malayalam books.
