Traces the attempts of CC to develop a truly versatile Notational System capable of implementing the decisions made in the Idea Plane. Describes the concepts of "Octave Notation" "Mixed Notation" "Sector Notation" and "Zone and Sector Analysis." Highlights the impact of these ideas on the theory of classification in general and on the CC in particular. Points out the helpfulness of the demarcation of the work of classification as belonging to the Idea, Verbal and Notational Planes.Downloads
