ALWIN - Algorithmic Chemical Notation System for Organic Compounds. Part III: Fused and Spiro Ring Systems.1 (Non-conveationai Methods in Document Retrieval. 18)

The construction of ALWIN for fused and spiro ring systems is described. A new method called tessellation method' is used for the topological description of these systems. In order to select a unique code from among the several possibilities, the nodes of the chemical graph are labelled following a precedence grammar and certain selection rules.Downloads
