Fisheries literature is overshadowed by the agricultural literature because of latter's dominance in the domain of food production programmes. With the growing research activities in the sphere of fisheries and related subjects, the number of journals and information services is rapidly increasing. ASFA is an international abstracting journal for the sciences, technology and management of marine and freshwater environments. A study is made of the coverage of literature of Indian origin by the ASFA pt.1 during the year 1983.Downloads
