Sources and Channels of Pre-Investment Information: Requirements of Small Scale Industries

Presents a short report of a pilot study carried out to identify the pre-investment information requirements, and the sources and channels used by small enterpreneurs, and also the usage of different information sources. The data were collected by direct and indirect methods, by interviews with potential entrepreneurs, new entrepreneurs, established entrepreneurs, financing agencies and small industry promotion institutes. Comments on the findings of the study. Conclusions and recommendations are made.Downloads
