Discusses the various features of the issues of the quarterly Library Science with a slant to Documentation and Information Studies published during 1981-90. Identifies the variation in content analysis which emphasises in information technology and quantitative studies, author-affiliations which emphasizes the dominance of Indian authors, single-authorship and belonging to research centres. Suggests increase in volume of papers, coverage of reviews, review articles, research in progress and letters to enhance the periodical's coverage and suggests organised term research and papers with more citation should be covered.Downloads
