Explains the importance of bearings in modern industry. Defines bearing and shows that the (BC) 'D9k Bearing Production Engineering' has two (CC) 'D9kl Sliding bearing' and 'D9k2 Rolling bearing' which are themselves (BC) and gives a table of the first characteristics used as the basis for the classification of bearings. Shows the different parts of a bearing with the help of a diagram. Provides a tentative scheme for the classification of the subjects going with the (BC) 'D9k Bearing Production Engineering' for [1P]. Gives an alphabetical index to the schedule. Gives a classified list of twenty-seven examples classified according to the above scheme.Downloads
