Financial Management of Constituent College Libraries in Karnataka: A Survey

Present study attempts to study the financial provisions of constituent college hbranes of Kamataka. The Government and UGC found to be the major source of finance for these libraries. The average UGC assistance is found to be Rs. 1,69,643 and the maximum assistance is Rs. 2,30,000. The library expenditure is found to be inadequate to meet the requirements of the users. The correlation coefficient is found to be positive but insignificant.Downloads
