Financial Management of Constituent College Libraries in Karnataka: A Survey

The present study attempts to know the financial provisions of constituent college libraries of Karnataka. The Government and the UGC are found to be the major sources of finance for these libraries. The average UOC assistance is found to be Rs. 1,69,643, and the maximum assistance is Rs. 2,30,000. The library finance is found to be inadequate to meet the requirements of the users. The correlation coefficient is positive but insignificant.Downloads
