This is a report of five lessons in DRTC, extending over 7 hours, given by Dr Ranganathan, during June 1964. Demonstrates the importance of making teaching library-centred and enthusing the students to discover for themselves instead of telling the final result. Examines the confusion jn the idea plane arising out of the two-worded term of art 'Reference Service'. With reference to a century long time-grid traces the evolution of reference service from 1850 to the current period showing its intensification into 'Documentation Service' as it is now called.Downloads
