A review of the book United nations family of libraries, by P. K. Garde, is presented. Mentions the highlights of the book, and appreciatively comments on the treatment of reference and bibliographical services given by the UN libraries and of the problems faced by the reference staff. Points out the need for detailed information on the growth of the libraries, of the users' requests for information, and of the material borrowed fro m the libraries.Downloads
