Communication Pattern in the Journal of the Indian Society of Soil Science: A Quantitative Analysis

A study was carried out to determine communication pattern by Indian soil scientists. Statistical data pertaining to research output highlighting the trends in regard to publication aspects, time lag, citation study, geographical distribution of authors, nature of communication, authorship pattern and institution-wise break up of communications have been analysed depicting information needs and gathering habits of Indian soil scientists.Downloads
