Abstract

Public Library System in India is still in the mould of the 19th century scholarship. It has been slow to respond to the contemporary needs. Information policy perspectives have to be put into this. A case study for developing community information services in public library system is analysed. The inputs needed to be put into information policy perspectives are presented with details.
