The developments in Information Technology, the understanding of the role of information in policy and decision-making, problem-solving, system-building, and in socio-economic and political developments, have given few lease of life to Library is a growing organism. The physical, interlingual, and interdisciplinary networks of information in library and information systems have led to the larger interest of Information Resource management. This article covers transformations that are happening in physical media for information, in particular, the telematic access, the development of variety of computer based magneto-laser-optic databases, and the emergence of information utilisation culture towards human societal development.Downloads
