Abstract

Five Laws of Library Science are considered as bedrock of library science. Rabindranath Tagore's vision of library can be traced out from his numerous writings. It is observed from the study that main thrusts of both the great minds are to maximize use library collection. Philosophy behind Tagore's vision of library originates from his educational philosophy based on individual fullness which will lead to social fullness.
