Mapping of Dengue Fever Literature Growth and Development

By the bite of a mosquito infected with one of the four dengue virus serotypes transmit Dengue. It is a febrile illness that affects infants, young children and adults with symptoms appearing 3-14 days after the infective bite. This paper deals with the bibliometric study on the publication of Dengue in the Web of Science database. For Dengue there is no vaccine or any specific medicine to treat. People who have dengue fever should rest, drink plenty of fluids and reduce the fever using paracetamol or see a doctor. The researcher takes data from the year 1999 to 2012 in the Web of Knowledge. Find out the highly cited references, yearly publications, h-index, document type, by language, the Geographical distribution of research and highly cited references.Downloads
