Digital preservation has become the vital issue today to preserve the born digital and digitized documents. To preserve the digital documents one should require the integration of new methods, policies, standards, and technologies. Digital preservation process and technologies can be readily integrated into an operational digital preservation framework. Preservation of digital information programs are under way across the globe. In this paper an attempt has been made to find out the digital preservation strategies, techniques, objectives, challenges and issues. Such a study is important because for the ultimate success of the digital preservation programs in the era of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) across the world.Downloads
