Abstract

Explains theory of Information Seeking Behaviour (ISB) at length. Provides an insight into the myriad miens of ISB such as its concept, associated psychological attributes, behavioural options and ecological influence, impact of dissonance theory, different methods and categories of infonnation seeking. Also reflects, different models of ISB and their implications along with the findings of some of the useful research carried out on ISB.
