The basic idea of classification framed by Ranganathan are embedded in Indian Philosophy. He cited in his Prolegomena, the Purva-mimamsa-darsana. the Nyaya-Kosa etc. He has also accepted the contribution of Naiyayika Kuppuswami Sastri and hence by investigating the philosophical texts as well as the different monographs of Ranganathan, essence has been extracted for, that the established ideas and concepts of Ranganathan blossom forth in a rather modified way to his intuition.Downloads
