Technological advancement has its own impact on education. Communication technology plays a vital role in the development of society. Vast amounts of data are transmitted in seconds, and Internet access offers unimaginably large amounts of information, data, and interpreted materials. This study attempts to focus on the impact of internet on academicians. The learning society demands fast and flexible platform of education with application in term of information technology. With the increasing impact of information technology on higher education, college teachers are attempting to grasp how information technology could help them to modernizing the process of teaching, research and learning. The study aimed at analyzing the internet use and its impact among the faculty members of Sheth M.N.Science College, Patan (Gujarat). The internet and emerging network technologies have been revolutionizing society by making information available to the people in a new way. Use of internet is increasing day by day as it is time saving, more informative and less expensive. This study examines how the college faculty members access a wealth of information on the web to support their research and academic activities.Downloads
